West Of Scotland AC Go West For Wild Fish

West of Scotland AC with five Drummond Estate boats headed towards the western end of the loch near Lochearnhead on the 19th May 2015 and found themselves in amongst the wild fish.Despite blustery conditions they had a very successful day with eighteen fish killed for 8¾lbs weight with the best tipping the scales at a 1lb. A further ten fish were returned giving an average rod of just under 2.5 fish for the day.Intermediate lines and Floaters with sink tips were the order of the day and traditional flies worked well.
