Great Start To The New Season

What a great start to the 2014 Fishing Season for Brian Crawford from Grangemouth and Dougie Bruce from Bannockburn.Out fishing in their own boat " Daybreak " in Ardveich Bay on the 15th March 2014 they returned with five fish, three brownies and two rainbows for a combined weight of 14lbs 5ozs.The heaviest brown tipped the scales at 3lbs 10ozs and the heaviest rainbow at 4lbs 10ozsAll the fish were taken on maggot fished in about thirty five feet of water.An excellent days fishing considering the extremely windy conditions.
