Super Start To The New Fishing Season

How's this for a basket of fish. Brian Crawford from Grangemouth and Douglas Bruce from Bannockburn returned from their days fishing on the 15th March 2012 with twelve rainbows for a total weight of 27¾lbs ( average weight 2lbs 5ozs )Fishing from Brian's boat in Ardveich Bay the fish were taken in about thirty five feet of water on maggot.They also returned a further eight rainbows, a brownie and a char.The heaviest fish taken was just a shade under four pounds
