Delighted Derek Sets The Standard For The New Season

A fantastic start to the new fishing season for Derek Reddingtonfrom Cowdenbeath fishing at the Fish Farm Exclusion Zone Fence on the 17th March 2016.With the water temperature at only 4½C fishing was quite hard going with only a couple of browns around the pound mark to show for his efforts.The huge brown at a fraction under 12lbs in weight took his ledgered worm and after a ten minute tussle was carefully netted out.Derek then placed the fish in a pool in a nearby stream where it made a full recovery before being released.Well done Derek.
