What a difference a couple of days can make. After the horrendous weather of the opening weekend with severe gale force winds and snow showers Thursday 22nd March 2007 was almost like a summers day. George Campbell from Falkirk and Billy Beckinsdale from Balquidder made the most of the better conditions and were rewarded with five brownies for 11¼lbs and three rainbow for 3½lbs for a basket weight of 14¾lbs Heaviest trout was a brownie at just under 3lbs. All the fish were taken in about forty feet of water from George's boat close to the trout farm and were all caught on maggot.
