Mixed Bag For Adriaan And John

Another great basket of fish on the opening day of the fishing season 15th March 2012. Slightly different tactics this time with the "garden fly" taking the fish.Seven browns and three rainbows was the days catch for John Keiller from Glasgow and Adriaan Reyneke from Stenhousemuir. Fishing from Adriaan's boat " Oor Tam " in Ardveich Bay and using a float with a three foot leader + worm was how the fish were taken. Quite surprising considering Loch Earn is just a shade above 4C.The best fish was a 3½lbs rainbow taken by John.
