Big Rainbow On Hare's Ear

This superb finned and conditioned rainbow was taken by John McFarlane from Bonnybridge out in his own boat in Ardveich Bay on the 24th August 2011.Fishing a floating line and a 24 foot leader in the area between the fish cages and the fish farm exclusion zone fence the 6¾lbs rainbow exploded out of the water on to the Hare's Ear Variant John was fishing.
