Heaviest Of The Season So Far

This superb rainbow at exactly 6lbs was the heaviest trout taken from Loch Earn this season so far. It was taken by Chris Mclean from Sandyhills, Glasgow out fishing in a Drummond Estate boat on the 31st May 2011 in Ardveich Bay with another two companions.Between them they took five rainbows and three wild brownies for a combined weight of 12½lbs.All the fish were taken on the worm fished in about 35 feet of water.
