A Super Days Fly Fishing

This trio of anglers from Uddingston returned with eighteen brownies for their day out on the Monday Bank Holiday 25th May 2009.Fishing from a Drummond Estate boat in the Findoglen area of the loch they located the fish using Di 3 lines and a variety of flies including Humungus, Coral Cat, Olive Sedge, Black Dancer and Craft eyed Devil.Baskets in order l to r James Stewart 10lbs 5ozs, Jed. Henderson 11lbs 14ozs and Thomas Bonnar 9lbs 12ozs.James had the heaviest fish at 2lbs 6ozs.They also returned to the loch a further fifteen brownies making it thirtythree fish for the day with an average weight of 1¾lbs
